Brunello di Montalcino Vigna La Casa 2000 Tenuta Caparzo

Deeper, richer and more intense than the straight Brunello from Caparzo. Still quite young though with quite a bit more oak influence showing than we would like, but this should integrate nicely. Overall a well balanced wine. Black cherry and hints of cranberry, menthol, spices, new leather and herbs are fused together in a fleshy wine loaded with personality. Given the time it deserves this will be a wine of great quality.
